Hello, I'm Corlischa.

I am qualified and registered as a counselor in South Africa where I practiced for several years prior to moving to the U.S. I am currently working towards my Counseling degree in the States, and practicing as a student under the supervision of Rebekah McKinney a M.Ed., LPC. Over the past decade I’ve worked on the pastoral team at a local church in Houston where I’ve pastored people through various life and spiritual challenges. 
 
My professional career includes working cross-culturally in South Africa, England and the U.S. This has shaped my desire to meet people where they are at and help them transition through seasons or hardship to places of lasting hope, healing and wholeness. 
 
My own experiences have also contributed to my desire to work with individuals who face crisis, grief, transitions in relationships or life circumstances, as well as those who struggle with anxiety or fear. I believe that in the therapeutic relationship, trust and a safe environment are key to success in counseling. My hope is that we can work together on strategies that will equip you to address some of the root issues in a meaningful way. I also enjoy working with married couples or those planning on getting married by helping them prepare for a lasting marriage.
